Osteo-trace contains seventeen substances essential to healthy
bones and the relief of arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis
and osteoporosis. It is effective in both humans and animals
Osteotrace was formulated by Dr. Rex Newnham
after he had identified a conclusive link between low levels of
boron in the soil and raised levels of rheumatoid arthritis in
the populations which lived in those areas.
The most important of these substances are:
Boron
The trace mineral Boron both increases bone density and relieves
arthritic and rheumatoid pain.
B vitamins
B Vitamins aid amino acid metabolism, a key factor in bone and
tissue reparation. In humans they also protect against arthritis,
rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis because they can reduce
edema, pain, joint stiffness, and sensory numbness. In particular
...
- Niacin (B3) helps the body's enzymes digest
carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It also improves blood circulation
and reduces blood cholesterol
- Vitamin B12 activates the enzymes which help
maintain good cell health, especially that of red blood cells
They may well have the same beneficial effect in animals.
The other ingredients of Osteo-trace benefit humans as described
...
Copper
Copper helps the body absorb iron from food and turn protein into
muscle. It also promotes healing in general. Copper and vitamin
C work together to help the body form elastin, an important part
of connective tissues.
Magnesium
Magnesium helps disperse calcium throughout the body. Inadequate
levels of magnesium reduces bone-calcium mobility and leads to
hypocalcemia.
Manganese
Manganese helps with the formation of connective tissue and bone.
As with boron, calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency, manganese deficiency
results in less dense bones which are more susceptible to fracture.
Selenium
Selenium is a powerful anti-oxidant which helps maintain tissue
elasticity and slows down the ageing process.
Zinc
Adequate levels of zinc are key to many body functions, including
physical development and growth, wound healing, protein synthesis
and the proper functioning of enzymes
Dosage, course and contents
A pot of Osteo-trace contains 90 tablets. The
recommended animal dosage is one tablet per 25kg animal weight
per day with food.
The longer the animal has had arthritis or osteporosis, the longer
it takes for it to recover. In general we recommend a three month
trial except for very recent onset.
Each tablet of Osteo-trace contains:
Boron 3mg, Calcium 83mg, Copper 81mcg, Magnesium 12mg, Manganese
4.5mg, Molybdenum 25mcg, Phosphorous 68.6mg, Selenium 30mcg, Zinc
5mg
Vitamin B3 10mg, Vitamin B5 9mg, Vitamin B6 20mg,
Vitamin B12 3mcg,
Vitamin C 200mg
Devil’s Claw 10mg, Horsetail 5mg, Kelp 7.5mg
