Bee venom increases IVF success
Scientists at Ain Shams University in Cairo (Egypt) found that injecting women with bee sting venom daily for two weeks improved their chances of becoming pregnant through IVF.

A second study* found that taking propolis (a plant resin collected by bees with natural antibiotic, antifungal and anti-cancer properties) can undo damage to the reproductive tract caused by mild endometriosis ( (the growth of uterine mucous membrane lining in places other than the uterus, often resulting in severe pain and infertility).

The findings were presented to the 2003 Conference of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. * presented by A.F.M. Ali and A. Awadallah
