Exposure to lead and cadmium damaged sperm quality
Exposure to lead, cadmium, zinc or copper, cigarette smoke, alcohol and age all damaged sperm quality. Of these, exposures to lead and cadmium were the worst, where even moderate exposure did significant damage, threatening fertility.
