The World Health Organisation’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) considers that microwave/ radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (MREMFs) from mobile phones, Wi-Fi and other cordless devices in our environment, homes, and workplaces (are) “possibly carcinogenic to humans”. The European Parliament agrees - even MREMFs too weak to warm living tissue. It states that exposure to such MREMFS can have biological effects that may “seriously” harm plants, insects and animals, including human beings.
