Indian farmers have found that Coca-Cola is a cheaper, effective alternative to all those patented pesticides. It's not Coke's famous secret ingredient that they have to thank. Apparently Pepsi, Thums Up and other locally-made soft drinks are just as good.

Over the years enthusiasts in the more industrially developed world have recommended Coke as a fine lavatory cleaner, a good windscreen wipe and an efficient rust spot remover.
