Pesticides found in sperm
A survey of 97 farmers from Ontario (Canada) showed that the semen
of pesticide sprayers contained significant traces of the pesticide
2,4-D that they were applying, even after only two days' exposure.
The researchers expressed concerned that this could lead to birth
abnormalities and that semen could be a major transmitter of damaging
pollutants into both women and the unborn child.
