Vitamin D3 lengthened lives of prostate patients
Vitmain D increased average survival rates from 16.4 months to
at least 23.5 months. The final average survival rate of the men
who took the high-dose supplement (called DN-101) will be longer.
Half of them are still alive!
The supplement also appeared to significantly reduced
levels of venous and arterial blood clots in the patients.
- More research is needed in order to confirm
whether the effect is general or specific to people with cancer,
particularly prostate cancer
- Thrombosis (blood clotting) is a serious complication
in advanced cancers, affecting 15-20% of all cancer patients
