Sunscreens worsen pesticides damage
Laboratory studies showed that the active ingredients in sun screens could more than double the capacity of the herbicide 2,4-D to penetrate human skin. This is worrying because agricultural workers are encouraged to use sunscreen.

The study was conducted at the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lincoln (US).
